Hefid the Deaf

Hefid the Deaf, a Nord beggar, is part of the insane community found in the Ratway Warrens underneath Riften.

Hefid is locked in a dark room and will not emerge unless her attention is broken. This can be done either by behaving violently around her, or if Knjakr the Chef, using the grinding wheel up the stairs, notices you and attacks you. She will flee, running to other parts of the Ratway Warren.

She carries a plethora of random items, which she'll constantly obsess over: a burned book, a bucket, a flawless garnet, an inkwell, and an iron dagger. In addition she wears ragged robes and carries a spare belted tunic.

Dialogue[edit]

When she is not fleeing, you may hear her ramble:

"Inkpot. Stone. Bucket. Book. Knife."
"Bucket. Knife. Book. Inkpot. Stone. No, no, no."
"Knife. Yes. Book. Yes. Bucket. Yes. Inkpot? No."

She may also maniacally shout:

"Ha ha ha ha! No! Never find me!"

Attempting to speak with her will result in her yelling:

"Go away. Go away. Go away!"

She will then turn hostile.

Notes[edit]

  • Hefid is the only person in-game of the beggar class, to wear the common beggar robes, to not actually be a beggar. She also uses the voicetype that all other female beggars do.
