1. Speak to Solvus Orrich in Goldstone's Great Hall about duties and Sirethal Palinis.

Detailed Walkthrough

Solvus Orrich has new duties for you. They concern Sirethal Palinis - a diplomat that has come to the Kingdom of Anvil to request funds that might aid the rebuilding of the Valenwood settlement, Woodhearth. Whilst the Queen is keen to ensure that whatever funds are given to Sirethal are attributed to her generosity rather than that of any rival noble, she nonetheless does not actually want the funds to come from her coffers.

Solvus tasks you with supplying 3,000 gold to Sirethal Palinis, who waits on the higher floor of the Great Hall. He makes casual mention of such an amount being likely held in the tower of Thimistrel Manor, but otherwise leaves the question of how you pay up to you.

You can just go upstairs and give 3,000 gold to Sirethal if you have it on you, returning to Solvus to complete the quest. If you want to take the Thimistrel Manor route however, look for that building in the southeastern corner of the city. The trapdoor to the tower is on the manor's Top Floor, but it has a level 90 lock applied to it. The key is in the western room on a copy of Legal Basics lying atop a desk, however you will need to steal it discreetly as Herrius Thimistrel and a guard are present in the same chamber - getting caught is a surefire way to be expelled from the Kingdom of Anvil.
