Sud is a small, well fortified Necromancer's cavern in the northwest corner of the main Sheogorad island.
The entrance faces the northern shore line. It is a home to a pair of renegade mages, one of whom owns a Wizard's Staff. In order to progress to the rank of Wizard or higher in the Mages Guild, you'll need this staff. This is the one you will be directed to, although it is not the only one in the game.
There are also some skeleton archers (who may have magical arrows) and a few leveled daedra. Other than the Wizard's Staff, the loot is not particularly notable. Levitation is helpful here (see quest page).
