Anirne is a hostile High Elf sorceress hiding out in Sud. She is a former Mages Guild member, said to be 'renegade and outlaw'. Why she was expelled is not clear, but her connection to daedra and necromancy is obvious (see Sud for details).
She wears an extravagant robe and expensive shoes. In addition to the quest-related Wizard's Staff, she carries a glass netch dagger for defense, as well as a random potion and up to 20 gold. Apart from her natural weaknesses to fire, frost, shock and magicka, her natural bonus to magicka, and resistance to disease, she knows the following selection of spells: Vivec's Wrath, Toxic Cloud, Daedric Bite, Blood Despair, Absorb Willpower, Absorb Intelligence, Drain Blood, Wild Spelldrinker, Weak Spelldrinker, Reflect, Far Silence, Hide, Invisibility, Dire Weakness to Shock, Dire Weakness to Poison, Dire Weakness to Magicka, Dire Weakness to Frost, Dire Weakness to Fire, Wild Distraction, Strong Shock Shield, Second Barrier, Strong Frost Shield, Strong Fire Shield, Great Feather and Dire Weary.
