Welcome[edit]
Hello Nickster! Welcome to the wiki. I hope you enjoy using the site and find the information on it useful. If you decide you want to help improve any of our pages, we're always welcoming to new editors so feel free. You might want to look at our Getting Started page for some tips on how to begin, then play in our Sandbox for a while to practice. If you need any help or advice, please ask one of our mentors. Enjoy! –Eshetalk 19:46, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
NPC Project[edit]
Hi again! I just noticed you've been adding information to a few Oblivion NPC pages--thanks! You may be interested in looking at the Oblivion NPC Redesign Project page, which has guidelines and useful tips for working on these pages. Particularly, please make sure you make note of your contributions in the tag posted on each page. This helps us keep track of what needs to be done for which pages. Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions! –Eshetalk 20:56, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
- Before you really get going, it might be a good idea to read through some examples of completed sections so you can see what we're looking for. Most of the NPC schedules must be taken from the CS, for example, because they're extremely complicated and cannot be summed up in a single sentence. This project was put together so we could successfully incorporate detailed information on the NPC pages, so do take a look at the guidelines and work from there. Thanks! –Eshetalk 22:24, 15 June 2009 (EDT)
- Welcome, it is nice to see you so enthousiastic about contributing. Though I have to inform you I had to revert some edits you made; adding contributors to the OBNPCRP cleanup template. It is not needed to check the history of every page to see who has written what. Instead the template is meant so people can see whether someone rewrote a section of the NPC article (and added new information) according to the guidelines set by the project. That can then be checked and verified. --Timenn < talk > 14:52, 16 June 2009 (EDT)
