Regrouping[edit]
I'd suggest listing the Umbra' Keth under Construct, as it was created by shadow magic. It's definitely not a natural thing. Legoless 22:22, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
- That's the biggest concern? Well, ok, done. Quick and painless.
- I was actually expecting a pile of concerns about certain groupings, such as choosing to group Orcs, Ogres, and Goblins together. I just gave them a temporary name (Macrogluteus), to hold them together. They have obvious overlaps, such as skin coloration and class system (orcs and goblins have shamans and warlords), but I couldn't think of anything better.
- If someone wants to suggest alternative names for groups, I'll listen. We can't go around calling "Nymph" and "Lamia" "Feminine" forever. Most of the listed names unfamiliar to players are just placeholders for now. The whole table is meant to demonstrate a sortable way of finding similar creatures, but I don't have many names from the games themselves for reference. I would prefer to increase clarity and readability, so most tips could be helpful.
- From a database perspective, I was planning on having the listed categories link to secondary pages, with each major category on a seperate page. "Animals" and other kingdoms would have overviews, with links to related pages. These kingdoms would then be broken down to more detailed, class pages. Final species would be listed in family groups when kept small, so all ungulates (Horses, sheep, things with hooves) could be on a single page. This system would allow for easy addition and incorporation of new Skyrim material.
- Side note- Any ideas on what kindom to put will-o-the-wisp in? It isn't animal, undead, daedric, afflicted or a construct. - Neural Tempest 22:52, 5 May 2011 (UTC)
