Vampire Lord[edit]
(Lifestyles-type Roleplaying)
You are a vampire, seeking power, land, and fresh blood. Perhaps you've been wandering Tamriel since the time of the Ayleids, or maybe you're a newly turned vamp who went mad with power, whatever you like best. No matter how you got here, the end result is the same: You plan on ruling Cyrodiil, through whatever means possible. There are two ways to do this, and you can mix elements of the two as you wish.
Covert Acquisition
• Stay at Stage One vampirism, lest they learn of your true nature.
• Buy a house in the city, like a wolf living among sheep.
• Do quests for the city, so they trust you.
• Complete the Thieves Guild questline, you will need to be able to punish with impunity for the next step.
• Wearing the Cowl, walk into the Throne Room and dispose of the current leader. If they are essential, then the Cowl may not be necessary as you can just lure them into an are such as Summitmist Manor using Command Humanoid. If Summitmist Manor is not a viable option, then find some other way to get them out of your way, permanently.
• With no bounty on your head, if you did it right, and no one on the throne, you are now free to pronounce yourself the Count/Countess! Now, either help your endearing town, move on to another one, or employ a system of brutality similar to the next section.
Bloodbath
• Complete the Dark Brotherhood, Mages Guild, and Arena questlines to gain minions. Maybe throw in the Thieves Guild for all the benefits of the Cowl, if you're concerned about bounty or want a nice Detect Life enchantment, you know, so nobody escapes.
• Using the Permanent Bound Items glitch, give the Adoring Fan a set of powerful Daedric armour and weaponry, enchanted preferably. You don't want any weak links.
• Reach Stage Four Vampirism, so your powers are maxed.
• At night, lead your army into your city of choice.
• Attack! Kill on sight! Particular targets are guards and chapel workers! Burn them, stab them, do whatever you want to them! Just let them know this city is yours!
• Storm the castle! Take out all the bodyguards and other castle workers! If you're in a town like Bravil, Leyawiin, or Anvil(after the Ultimate Heist), kill the Count/Countess! Otherwise, just demolish everyone they hold dear so that nobody will question your rule!
• Finish before sunrise, and withdraw to an indoors area.
• The next night, either continue with another city or find somebody to feed on so that you may enjoy your conquest by day.
What now, you ask? Revel in your conquest! Change the country as you see fit! PC players can do this to an almost unsettling degree. Cities not enough? go through the Vampiric ruins and caves, either befriending(with 100% Chameleon) or wiping out your inferior brethren! You've won the country, enjoy it!
Assassin[edit]
(Assassin-type Roleplaying)
Yes, another Assassin roleplay guide, but I'll try and make this one a bit unique and interesting. You, I've seen you're type before. You want blood on your hands, and you want somebody else to pay for it. Well, I'll help you. Here's all you need to know to be the perfect assassin. Since freelancing is rarely profitable or safe, I'll focus on the Brotherhood.
Initiation
Ah, you wish to join the Dark Brotherhood? You will need to prove your worth. As anyone will tell you, murder is the only way in, but who to choose?
• Beggars are solitary people, they will be easy prey for your weapon.
• Glarthir is paranoid without reason, but you could justify his fears...
• For the truly daring, the Count of Bravil is never essential, and that definitely attracts attention.
Any of these, or whoever you wish to kill, would work perfectly. Then you just need to complete' Lachance's task.
Life in the Brotherhood
So you finally gutted your target and cut the old Rufio in his room to be accepted. Now, how do you become the perfect assassin?
• Always get the bonus! If nothing else, it shows how good you are at your job.
• Take trophies from your victims, something small but memorable to remind you of that particular contract.
• Only leave the sanctuary to perform contracts. If you must sleep, one of your Brothers or Sisters will gladly lend you a bed.
• Use your Shrouded Armour, it shows pride and keeps you concealed.
• Obey the Five Tenets, this should go without saying but it needs to be repeated. The last thing you want on your record is being known as the guy who stole Gogron's axe and invoked the Wrath of Sithis.
Silencer
Well, you completed Lucien's top secret mission and now you're on your own. With no real sanctuary, having cleared out yours, and every contract requiring obscene amounts of travel, how do you keep to your assassin lifestyle?
• Never stay in cities longer than you must. They must never suspect why you are there.
• More than ever, perform your contracts in secret. Somebody of your rank shouldn't be thrown in jail because his target survived and screamed for the guuards.
• Always keep Shadowmere nearby. You never know when you'll need a super-fast, essential, demon horse.
• Once again, remember to take trophies. Particularly of notice are the Sands of Resolve and Caelia's Steel Longsword.
• Do not delay, go from Dead Drop, to target, to Dead Drop. One shouldn't keep the Black Hand waiting.
Listener
You have uncovered the Great Treachery of Mathieu Bellamont and been promoted by The Night Mother herself. Under your command you have three eager young murderers, each with their own talents. You also have the Speaker Arquen to pay you from contracts given by the Night Mother's statue in Bravil. Now you must adjust to your new lifestyle.
• Make sure to visit Bravil EVERY week for your contracts. You don't want to fall behind on your duties!
• Take the new recruts out every now and then to show them how it's done.
• Rebuild the Brotherhood! disregarding the many mods that allow this, just lead some loyal follower from somewhere else and tell them to wait down in the sanctuary, pretend they're a new recruit. If you're on the PC you can do this to an even larger degree! Change names, add Shrouded Hoods and Armour to the newest recruits, etc.
Bonus Contracts
So, most revered Listener, are you bored with your more important, but less active role in the Dark Broterhood? well, I have a few bonus contracts that will help you out there. No gold, no bonuses, just glory and honour. Oh, and blood, lots and lots of blood.
• Targets: Davide and Gaston Surilie, Tamika; Details: Killing the main producers of Skingrad Wine will decimate the economy of the whole town! Chaos will follow, and Sithis will be pleased.
• Targets: Every worker in every Chapel in every city! Details: Destroy those who serve the weak Divines, and prove the superiority of Sithis!
• Targets: Astav Wirich, Cingor, Else God-Hater, Eugal Belette, Hans Black-Nail, Isolde, Ranaline, Tanasa Arano, Tolisi Girith, and Ulen Athram; Details: It seems that even the noble Blades aren't above assassination to accomplish their goals. Kill everyone on this list, as they are sleeper agents of the Mythic Dawn. Not only will the Blades be pleased, but successful completion would be a crippling blow to an organization that dared to try and outdo the brotherhood's assassinations.
• Target: Goblin Jim; Details: Nobody likes a crazy cave hermit, even less so when they control an army of goblins. Killing him will put everyone's minds at ease, though Sithis himself could care less. but hey, one more soul for the Void.
• Special Target: Erandur-Vangaril; Details: This contract is only available over Level 23. The Mages Guild has never liked Liches, this is commonly known. So when two members left and, through a series of unfortunate events, fused into a single, albeit weak, Lich, things got ugly. Find your way through Lost Boy Caverns and slay the abomination. As a nice little bonus, technically that's two souls headed to the Void.
Well, those should be plenty enough bonus contracts to keep occupied for now, as long as you don't do them all in one day. With that, I will leave you to your duties, Listener.
