Kammus Uvayn is a Dark Elf sorcerer and Mouth of House Telvanni. He is in the upper part of the South Tower in Tel Mothrivra. He is an apprentice of Dralothas Omothran with some strange ideas of Dagoth Ur.
For protection, he wears a pair of bonemold pauldrons and a pair of bonemold bracers. For clothing, he wears an expensive robe, a pair of expensive shoes, and a Bone Guard Belt. He wields a Silver Shardblade, and carries an ornate copper key which unlocks the door (60) to the turret in the lower part of the South Tower.
Aside from his natural resistance to fire and the sanctuary provided by his ancestors, he knows the following spells: Absorb Intelligence, Absorb Willpower, Blood Despair, Commanding Touch, Cruel Weary, Daedric Bite, Deadly Poison, Dire Shockball, Dire Weakness to Fire, Dire Weakness to Frost, Dire Weakness to Magicka, Dire Weakness to Poison, Dire Weakness to Shock, Dispel, Fire Shield, Frost Shield, Great Levitate, Levitate, Lightning Shield, Reflect, Sleep, Slowfall, Spell Absorption, Summon Greater Bonewalker, Summon Skeletal Minion, Vivec's Feast, Vivec's Wrath, Weak Spelldrinker, and Wild Spelldrinker.
In the upper tower where he is, there is a greater soul gem on top of the desk, and a copy of The Bone Song underneath the desk. Next to the desk, there is a locked chest (61) with a heap of alchemy ingredients: 3 mummy hearts, 1 nightshade, 6 bloat, 10 bonemeal, 2 corprus weepings, 8 ectoplasm, 8 gravedust, 3 gravetar, and 2 vampire dust. On the bookshelf, there is a common soul gem on the bottom shelf, as well as a copy of the valuable Expanding Magicka: Revised.
Dialogue[edit]
- Background:
- "I'm Kammus Uvayn, a %Class, and apprentice of lord Dralothas Omothran. I am a %Rank in House Telvanni."
- Dagoth Ur:
- "I like his ideas about freeing ourselves from the Empire. Even the Temple should follow his philosophy, but Almsivi considers him as an enemy! Instead of fighting the Imperials and the Empire, they started fighting him! Those weaklings. If it wasn't for that blight disease, I would go to Red Mountain myself."
If you have killed Dagoth Ur:
- "Why did you kill him? He could have been the savior of Morrowind! I guess I'll have to free Morrowind myself." (Disposition down by 10)
- "House Indoril wants those Imperial invaders gone, just like me. Unfortunately they are also very fanatical Temple worshippers. They should concentrate their efforts on fighting the Empire and not on helping the weak and poor. Why couldn't they use the weak and poor as a new army against the Imperial suppressors? House Telvanni doesn't care for the poor or the weak; only the strongest will survive."
- Imperial:
- "They wanted this place during the 80-years war, but they never succeeded in capturing it, those whelps. They have only succeeded in convincing the weak and corrupted mer of House Hlaalu to join them."
- Kammus Uvayn:
- "I'm the apprentice of Lord Dralothas Omothran. Lord Omothran allowed me to use this tower for my experiments and studies. I'll be an important member of House Telvanni soon. Leave me, outlander, so I can continue with my studies."
- Morrowind:
- "Morrowind is a great nation and shall always be a great nation. But we must free ourselves from the Imperial burden and separate ourselves from Cyrodiil before we can realize the glory of our ancestors."
- outlander:
- "Outlanders should return to the province where they belong and not inhabit our lands. Morrowind belongs to the Dunmer and only to the Dunmer, not some greedy and corrupt Imperials. If I were in charge of Tamriel, I would perform a big separation of all races. Only a separation of all races will solve every conflict."
If you are a Dark Elf:
- "Outlanders should return to the province where they belong and not inhabit our lands. Morrowind belongs to the Dunmer. But you should go away as well to some Imperial or Hlaalu town in Morrowind. Only true Dunmer live in Telvanni and Indoril cities."
- Red Mountain:
- "Red Mountain is the great volcano in the center of Vvardenfell. The crater of Red Mountain is called the Dagoth Ur region, where Dagoth Ur and his so-called evil servants dwell. The Tribunal built the Ghostfence around Red Mountain to imprison Dagoth Ur and his servants."
