A question that would be worthwhile if the page answered:

Is this treasure chest like the ones from the Treasure Maps?

That is, does the treasure chest exist even when you're not on the quest? Can you skip the entire bandit-fighting sequence and just loot the treasure chest directly?

Yep, the chest will be on the island, even if you never visited Robber's Gorge. It is locked (in my game with a Master leveled lock), so you will miss out on the key. --Krusty (talk) 11:29, 7 November 2012 (GMT)
