Missing Dawnguard Notes[edit]

An inconsistency in the layout between the 'books' page and the 'notes' page. The books page lists all the Skyrim + Dawnguard books (and a link to Dragonborn books). The Notes page does not include the Dawnguard notes, or even a link to the dawnguard notes page (there isn't one, just a page that shows all the notes and books that Dawnguard adds without them separated). So either a 'Dawnguard Notes' page needs to be created, or (preferably and easier to do) those Dawnguard notes should be added to this page.

Edit: Also, the hearthfire notes are not on the list, well two of them are (the two from a Jarl delivered by courier, but not the one from the steward and the five other notes: 3 charters, adoption, breezehome furnishings) Bamspeedy (talk) 18:11, 5 November 2017 (UTC)

Yeah, hits us now we want to merge Dragonborn notes in - should be done consistently. Apart from that, what I miss (or can't find) is a method to display the mod after the name like we do it usually for other stuff, "showmod" does something different. --Alfwyn (talk) 01:19, 23 February 2020 (GMT)

Notes don't always stack[edit]

I tend to collect and keep the various notes I come across, and I have noticed that my copies of some notes don't always stack. I would have thought they would be the same item ID, but I don't know why this happens. It happens with:

  1. Dark Brotherhood Assassin's Note
  2. Justiciar Execution Order
  3. Writ of Dawn
  4. Writ of Execution

Now, it's more understandable when it happens with copies of the Letter from Calcelmo, because those can actually differ depending on what Dwemer item you purchased and where you purchased it. However, I've noticed that notes that include such variables are likely to be altered so that they all read the same thing. And whether or not the notes stack can change depending on whether they're in the container where I store them or in my character's inventory.

The one thing Skyrim is consistent about is being inconsistent.

Is any of this worth noting on any of the pages? Valeria (talk) 16:59, 22 March 2025 (UTC)
