Walkthrough[edit]

Exterior[edit]

Rieklings in Control[edit]

Thirsk Mead Hall is initially occupied by rieklings. South of the building is an unusable forge, two empty riekling tents, a fenced pen (which will be occupied by Bilgemuck after completing the first objective of the quest The Chief of Thirsk Hall), and two large stacks of crates. A total of three snowberry plants are nearby, with two on either side of the entrance, and the third north of the building. Several rieklings stand outside the entrance, with another stack of crates and an unusable barrel flanking the door.

Nords in Control[edit]

After completing the quest Retaking Thirsk, the hall will be occupied by the Nords. All riekling structures, fencing, decorations, and crates are removed, and the forge is now available for use. After completing a favor for Hilund, rows of upright riekling spears will also line the path to the entrance.

Rieklings in Control[edit]

Interior under riekling control

The entrance leads into a large room featuring haphazardly arranged tables, chairs, benches, and barrels, large bones and other riekling decorations, and riekling tents. The middle of the room is slightly lower than the perimeter, with steps around the room leading down to the area surrounding the central grated firepit. A second small room is beyond a doorway behind a throne opposite the entrance on the north wall.

In the first room, the entire space includes messily stacked and overturned tables, chairs, and benches, as well as scattered large bones and other riekling decorations. In addition to this furniture and debris, on the perimeter, along the west wall are two food barrels, several unusable barrels, and an empty riekling tent. Along the east wall are four food barrels, several unusable barrels, and two empty riekling tents. In the middle area, along the west side of the firepit are eight food barrels, several unusable barrels, and an empty riekling tent, with several rieklings near the tent and five bottles of ashfire mead on the floor in front of the tent. Along the east side of the firepit are six food barrels, several unusable barrels, and an empty riekling tent. At the north end of the room is the riekling chief's throne, with two large brewing vats tilted at different angles on either side of the throne.

The second room contains a stack of four unusable single beds in the southeast corner, seven food barrels, several unusable barrels, an overturned table along the north wall, and two riekling tents in the southwest and northeast corners.

Nords in Control[edit]

Interior under Nord control

The entrance leads into a large room featuring neatly arranged tables, chairs, benches, and barrels. The middle of the room is slightly lower than the perimeter, with steps around the room leading down to the area surrounding the central grated firepit. A second small room is beyond a doorway opposite the entrance on the north wall.

In the first room, on the perimeter, along the west wall is a food barrel, two narrow tables, one of which holds two bottles of Black-Briar Reserve and a loaf of bread, and four chairs and a long table holding four bottles of Black-Briar Reserve, a venison chop, a loaf of bread, a piece of bread, a horse haunch, four rabbit haunches, and a joint of venison. Along the east wall are two narrow tables, two food barrels, several unusable barrels, a table holding a loaf of bread, a piece of bread, a rabbit haunch, and a third food barrel, with two bottles of Black-Briar Reserve on the floor near the table, and a chair and a small round table holding another bottle of Black-Briar Reserve. In the middle area, along the west side of the firepit are two tables, each of which holds a food barrel, with a third food barrel and a bottle of Black-Briar Reserve on the floor near the tables, several unusable barrels, and a chair and a small round table holding another bottle of Black-Briar Reserve. Along the east side of the firepit are two chairs and two tables holding a bottle of Black-Briar Reserve and a food barrel, with another food barrel and two more bottles of Black-Briar Reserve on the floor near the tables, and several unusable barrels. At the south end of the firepit is a bench and a table holding a joint of venison, a mammoth cheese bowl, a venison chop, a loaf of bread, a piece of bread, a horse haunch, four rabbit haunches, and a bottle of Black-Briar Reserve. At the north end of the firepit is a bench and a table holding a joint of venison, a venison chop, four rabbit haunches, a bottle of Black-Briar Reserve, a loaf of bread, a piece of bread, a horse haunch, and a pot of honey. Two cooking spits are on the west and east sides of the firepit, and two large brewing vats flank the doorway to the second room.

The second room contains five single beds, five food barrels, several unusable barrels, a chair, a table, and two small round tables, with a loaf of bread, a piece of bread, two rabbit haunches, and eleven bottles of Black-Briar Reserve scattered around the room. In total, the hall contains twenty-seven valuable bottles of Reserve, all of which can be freely taken after completing Retaking Thirsk.
