  3. Return to Veros. You will be attacked if you travel through Dragonstar East with Iztara.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

The Bounty[edit]

Veros will first ask you to swear on Talos' name for your discretion on the matter before allowing you to claim the bounty, in which you have to transfer an informant for the Imperials accused of collaborating with the Sogat dur-Gada named Iztara from the Crown Guard Barracks to Taurus Hall using the Transfer Order given to you. However, the Fire-Hand has caught wind of the transfer, so Veros suggests that you do not go through Dragonstar East when escorting her to Taurus Hall.

Retrieving the Prisoner[edit]

Iztara can be found in the Prison located within the Guard Barracks in Dragonstar West. Talk to Turoc about her and he will unlock the door to the prison cell, therefore transferring her to your custody.

Getting Iztara to Taurus Hall[edit]

Speak to Iztara and escort her back to Taurus Hall.

As Veros explained earlier, the Fire-Hand Clan has caught wind of the transfer, so you will be attacked by 3 Fire-Hand Clan members, Merred, Hjelfi, and Skaef Blue-Feet once you pass through the gate to Dragonstar East. Iztara is armed only with a Steel Dagger and doesn't wear any armor, and the ambushers will prioritize attacking her first, so she will die easily to the ambushers. One way of dealing with them while keeping Iztara out of harm's way is to have her wait at the Census and Excise Office, then talk to Merred to turn the ambushers hostile, at which point you can kill them without incurring a bounty on your own head.

An alternative, longer route to escort her is to go out through the west gate, turning left in-between the fence on the way to Tro-Tuktura Pass, following a trail through the cliff, then turn right once you reach the main path to Dragonstar East, then go right on the fork, taking the dirt trail up to Taurus Hall. You may get attacked by wild animals and Reachmen along the way, but they should pose less threat than the 3 Fire-Hand Clan ambushers waiting in Dragonstar East.

Alternatively, if you have a Scroll of Divine Intervention, you can give it to her, and she will use it to transport herself to Taurus Hall, therefore saving you the trouble of escorting her.

Return to Veros with Iztara alive for a 350 gold reward. You will not get any reward if Iztara dies.
