Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to Lorvacah.
2. Go to the Ruby Drake Inn.
3. Talk to Jenah who will ask you to steal Aladoer's book.
4. Steal Magic from the Sky from Aladoer's room on the 3rd floor and return to Jenah to receive the ring.
5. You can skip this step by talking to Caponicus directly and convincing him to part with the ring for 75 gold.
6. Return to Lorvacah for your reward.

30		Lorvacah wants me to steal a ring from Caponicus Valian in the Ruby Drake Inn. The dancer Jenah might be able to help me.
40		I gave Jenah one of Aladoer's rare books. She handed me Caponicus Valian's ring in return.
50		Caponicus Valian sold me his ring for a fraction of its actual value.
60		I successfully pickpocketed Caponicus Valian's ring.
70	Finishes quest	I gave Caponicus Valian's ring to Lorvacah and she accepted me into the Thieves Guild.
80	Finishes quest	I was detected while attempting to steal Caponicus Valian's ring. I've failed the job.
90	Finishes quest	Caponicus Valian died while I was attempting to steal his ring. I've failed the job.

10		Jenah will acquire Caponicus Valian's ring for me if I steal one of Aladoer's precious books.
20		I successfully broke into Aladoer's private room and stole one of his rare books.
A Dancing Distraction (Sky_qRe_KWTG1b_Journal)
10		I convinced Caponicus Valian that his ring was a fake. He agreed to sell it to me for 100 gold.
20		I wasn't able to convince Caponicus Valian that his ring was a fake. I'll have to find another way to get it.
