Quick Walkthrough

1. Speak to Big Buc Barettius on the balcony of The Abecette's hotel about Wya.
2. Talk to Wya Barettius at the Abecette's Fight Pit and insist on getting involved.
   • Either:
     1. Agree to help Wya.
     2. Return to Wya and Targorn after three hours have passed, and speak to Wya.
     3. Meet Targorn outside the back of the Abecette and tell him you're ready.
     4. Either kill Big Buc Barettius, and return to Wya (rewards Gold Shield of Shattering).
     5. Or kill Targorn, speak to Big Buc and escort Wya back to him (rewards 200 gold, 1x Kurst).
   • Or:
     1. Refuse to help Wya with her plan.
     2. Defeat Targorn.
     3. Speak to Wya about travel together and escort her back to Big Buc.
     4. Talk to Big Buc about Wya (rewards 200 gold, 1x Kurst).

Detailed Walkthrough

Enter The Abecette's hotel, and you'll find an exit to a balcony at the southern end. Big Buc Barettius stands here, and initially mistakes you for his wife, Wya. Ask him about her and he'll promise you a bag of coin if you go and find her.

Ask around the Abecette's guests about Wya. You'll ultimately be directed to the fight pit area in the casino, where you'll find Wya Barettius with a Wood Elf named Targorn. Speak to her - she'll bristle at Big Buc's insistence that she should come back, and will ask you not to get involved. Agreeing not to will end the quest, boosting her disposition by 15. If you insist however, she'll panic and explain that her husband is controlling and paranoid, and that she is plotting with Targorn to kill him. She offers to pay you for your silence. You'll have a choice of offering to help or refusing to.

Sticking with Buc

If you refuse to help Wya, she'll state that she can't let you return to Buc after she's confessed to planning to have him killed, and will tell Targorn to attack you. You'll need to defeat him. On doing so, speak to Wya. She'll agree to follow you, so ask to travel togetherBold text and take her back to Buc. Once you're both back on the balcony, speak to Buc. He'll dismiss the assassination plot as just another of her "silly games", and will give you 200 gold and a bottle of Kurst for your assistance.

Helping Wya

If you agree to help Wya in her assassination attempt, she'll ask you to return in three hours. Your journal will update once enough time has passed. Speak to her. She'll say that Big Buc is by now very drunk, and has just exited the Abecette by the back door. She asks that you meet Targorn outside, and together kill her husband.

Leave the Abecette. You'll find both Targorn and Big Buc round the back. Speak to Targorn, and he'll ask if you're ready, Say yes, and he'll attack Big Buc. You can kill Targorn at this point if you wish - Big Buc will be startled by the turn of events, and will insist that you escort Wya to you. She'll not be pleased at your betrayal, but escorting her back to Big Buc and asking him about Wya will see you receive a 200 gold reward and a bottle of Kurst. At this point however, you're most likely to want to proceed with the plan. Killing Big Buc allows you to return to Wya, who'll reward you with the Gold Shield of Shattering for your efforts.
