Ramus

Ramus is a Redguard Commoner formerly employed as a servant by the murdered Arahn Kimoi. He is therefore a suspect during Murder on the Crossroads.

Since his firing by Arahn, Ramus has found work at the Crossing Inn in Brina Cross, and the pub's proprietor Christophe Marane can provide Ramus with an alibi (although Ramus' and Christophe's accounts differ as to exactly how hard Ramus was working). Ramus nonetheless did have some involvement in the killing without knowing of it; it was he who sold Arahn's true murderer the key to his house, thinking them to be a would-be robber. Ramus very much prefers that this fact should not become known, and will reward you with a different key - this time to Arahn's cellars - if you should keep quiet about it.
