Beran Volurian

Beran Volurian is an Imperial Noble and the Reeve of Archad. A sickly man, he rarely leaves his house - claiming that there is something in the air of the Dasek Marsh.

He attends to his duties as best he can however - providing you with directions to the bandits that have blocked the road to Hal Sadek during Bridge Repair, and with the key to the old fort of Strand when, as a Mages Guild member, you are sent to clear it of undead. Beran is also the only individual able to reward you with gold for the killing of a Vicious Aspis that has been terrorizing the village and killing its chickens.

Beran may have a chip on his shoulder however - as shown in Sinweaver - where the confidence trickster Uricalimo appears to easily convince him that Anvil residents look down on him, and cannot be trusted.
