Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Flavien Herault has a home in the Canal West Tenements of Anvil's Little Arenthia. Speak to him and he'll ask for help with his neighbor problem. Offer to help, and he'll ask you to bring him a silver spear, as said neighbor is a werewolf. You can buy a silver spear from Vallus Rotarius at his Anvil store if you need one. Once obtained, bring it to Flavien. He's suddenly reluctant to go stab the man next door, and will tell you to go do the deed instead.

You can enter Fenrik Torn-Ear's room next door and kill him, but you may wish to hear him out. Talking to him about Flavien Herault will see him make what he calls a better suggestion - you killing Flavien for him instead. You can do this, in which case return to Fenrik to be trained in two levels of Hand-to-hand. Alternatively, you can persuade Fenrik to skip town. This is done either by offering 2,000 gold if you have it, persuading him that Flavien could rally a mob with 90+ disposition, threatening to kill him while level 24 or higher, or (if you have completed Bloodmoon) noting your success in Hircine's hunt and calling him prey.

If you kill Fenrik or persuade him to leave, return to Flavien for a collection of perfumes and 200 gold. If Fenrik attacked you, be sure to cure any disease he inflicts lest you become a werewolf yourself.
