Vosis

Vosis is a dragon priest who can be found in Forelhost in the Rift. The Worm Cult attempted to attack Forelhost to claim Vosis' magical mask, but were defeated by the undead. Vosis then claimed a shard of Wuuthrad that the cultists had stolen. You must fight him to recover it in turn.

He is encountered at the peak of the mountain, and must be summoned at his altar. According to Nordahl, he is powered by the cold. During the fight, the four fires around him must be active to defeat him. Once he is slain, the shard of Wuuthrad will be upon the altar.

Skills and Abilities

Ice Arrow

A basic ranged attack that does minor frost damage.

Ice Barrier

The enemy summons an Ice Barrier that absorbs projectiles fired at it until destroyed. The caster cannot be pulled if the wall stands between them and the enemy. The player should move so that there is a clear line of sight between themselves and the enemy.

Winter's Reach

The enemy unleashes an icy whirlwind in the direction it is facing. This whirlwind does moderate frost damage and roots all players that it hits. The root effect passes through block, but it can be escaped by roll dodging.

Quest-Related Events

When you summon the Dragon Priest, the priest will challenge you to take the shard of Wuuthrad:

Vosis: "The shard. You seek the shard?"

Vosis: "It gives understanding. Power."

Vosis: "Let us test your power."
