Skoorn, the Blizzard's Edge

Skoorn, the Blizzard's Edge is powerful xivkyn boss who is found in the Imperial City Sewers. He is a general of the Coldharbour Elite Guard and wears two red banners, meaning he will primarily use ranged and area-of-effect attacks.

He may be encountered walking a looping path through the sewers, or spawn after an inner portal is closed in the Barathrum Centrata.

Skills and Abilities

Daedric Chill

Summons an AoE that deals massive frost damage to all players standing in it. If a player dies while standing in it, an orb of blue energy rises from their corpse and is absorbed by the boss, healing them.

Ice Arrow

A basic ranged attack that deals major frost damage.

Winter's Reach

Sends a frozen gale whirling towards a target. If it hits, it deals major frost damage.

Soul Devour

When a player dies while in combat with Skoorn, it absorbs the player's energy and heals themselves for ~200k health.

Mind Spike

While out-of-combat, Skoorn reveals all stealthed players in an area around them indicated by a blue ring. Any revealed player cannot return to stealth for some time.
