I've accepted a contract to defeat Sotha Sil's creation, the Imperfect, in order to test its capabilities. I've also been asked to gather its lost sequence plaques.

Quick Walkthrough

1. Talk to the Clockwork Facilitator.
2. Defeat The Imperfect.
3. Gather 8 Sequence Plaques.
4. Return to the Clockwork Facilitator.

Detailed Walkthrough

The Clockwork Facilitator is located near the Wayshrine in the Brass Fortress.

When speaking to him, he says:

Clockwork Facilitator: I have a contract available for citizens with combat experience.

Player: I'll take on a contract.

Clockwork Facilitator: Reflecting… Reflecting… Lord Seht has developed a combat enabled machine named the Imperfect. It requires a variety of challenges to test its weaknesses and improve capabilities. With each defeat, more is learned.

Player: Where can I find the Imperfect?

Clockwork Facilitator: Travel to the Sanctuary of Verification. You must also gather the Imperfect's sequence plaques that have been scattered during previous battles. Many are found near the bridge to the chamber. Payment will be given upon completion of this task.

Player: I accept.

Head to the Sanctuary of Verification.

• The Imperfect will be found inside the sanctuary.
• Sequence Plaques can be gathered from rubbish piles along the bridge and inside the sanctuary. They will also drop from The Imperfect.

After completing these tasks, return to the Clockwork Facilitator.

Clockwork Facilitator: I detect the Imperfect is no longer functional.

Player: I've completed the contract.

Clockwork Facilitator: Verified. The Imperfect has been tested and the sequence plaques are in your possession. Thank you for completing this task in a timely manner. The information obtained will be useful to furthering the Imperfect prototype. Here is your reward.

Notes

• You may need a group to defeat the Imperfect, seeing as how it's a world boss.

Bugs

• Respawn timer for Imperfect may be currently broken, with many complaints in-game saying it is taking much longer than usual. I personally have waited over 55 minutes for the Imperfect to spawn. (1/30/2022) ^?
