Flame Adepts (or Goutfang Adepts) are a class of hostile humanoid NPCs that attack using melee and magical abilities. They usually have no weapons, using their hands and a variety of flame spells to attack. This class was introduced in Dragonhold.

Skills and Abilities

Burning Hand Strike

The enemy punches you with their ignited hand, dealing low flame damage.

Burning Strike

The enemy launches a flame bolt to you, dealing low flame damage.

Flash Surge

The enemy channels a conal fire breath attack, dealing flame damage over time. This can be interrupted.

Flash Trail

The enemy dashes forward while engulfed in flames, indicated by a long rectangular AoE, leaving a lingering trail of fire behind. (On some flame adepts)

Flame Aura

The enemy applies a large, orange circle around itself, giving invincibility in the form of damage shield to its allies inside the circle except itself. (On some flame adepts)
