Dreadhorn Thornslingers are blood-forged pet rangers of the Dreadhorn Clan encountered in the Bloodroot Forge.
During the fight with the Siege Mammoth in Falkreath Hold, Thornslingers will be stationed atop inaccessible ledges and fire at the ground below. They cannot be killed during the fight, disappearing only after it has ended.

Skills and Abilities[edit]
- Quick Shot
- A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage.
- Call Ally
- At the beginning of combat, the enemy blows a horn and summons a Nirnblooded animal companion to fight, usually a bear, senche, or guar. This ability can only be performed once.
- Arrow Spray
- The enemy shoots a spray of arrows in the direction it is facing as indicated by a red cone. This attack does moderate physical damage as well as snares all enemies hit. This attack can be interrupted to set the enemy off balance or simply avoided. Blocking also prevents the snare and reduces the damage.
- Roll Dodge
- The enemy may perform a roll dodge to avoid attacks.
- Place Trap
- Places a bear trap which roots the target which walks into it and deals minor physical damage. Performing a roll dodge will break the trap.
- Earthbane Arrow
- An attack used by the Thornslingers in Falkreath Hold. A basic ranged attack that does minor physical damage and minor flame damage over time.
