Corlys the Chainmaker is a powerful Dark Elf slaver/collector of beasts who can be found at Clamorclap Bowl.

Skills and Abilities

As a boss rank NPC, Corlys the Chainmaker is immune to crowd control. Before you face Corlys and its Argonian Behemoth, you must defeat two waves of enemies:

-Wave 1: 1x Senche-Raht, 1x Thunderbug Lord and 2x Salamanders

-Wave 2: 1x Captive Pahmar-raht, 1x Minotaur and 1x Whispering Gloom Siren

Then Corlys the Chainmaker jumps-in and the Argonian Behemoth is released. If Corlys is defeated first, the Argonian Behemoth and the Menagerie Archers are automaticaly killed.

Quick Strike

A basic melee attack that does moderate-high physical damage.

Biting Winds

A dual-hitting basic melee attack that deal moderate-high physical damage each.

Heavy Strike

Corlys performs a charged melee attack, dealing high physical damage and staggering his target. This can be blocked to stagger Corlys.

Thrash

Corlys deals high physical damage in cone that snares targets hit.

Trip

Corlys sends a vine in a straight line, rooting then dealing high physical damage and knocking down targets hit.

Feet of Fire

Corlys leaps backwards, putting distance between him and his target. The ground he travels over is engulfed in flames, indicated by a red rectangle, dealing continuous moderate flame damage.

Summon Henchmen

At 80% and 50% Health, Corlys calls for reinforments which are composed of two Menagerie Archers each time.

Dialogue

He occasionally calls out for challengers while he idles before combat.

Corlys the Chainmaker: "Come! Test your mettle against my menagerie! The finest fighting specimens from across the world!"

Corlys the Chainmaker: "Bear witness to my mighty menagerie! My people have traveled the world to bring you the most exciting threats to battle!"

When you start attacking, he will cry out.

Corlys the Chainmaker: "At last, some challengers! Let me whet your combat palette with a selection of dangerous wildlife, secured at great risk!"

After defeating the first wave of monsters, he will say:

Corlys the Chainmaker: "Good, good! I see you're warmed up. Mindless beasts are one thing, but how will you fare against something more … intelligent?"

After defeating the second wave of monsters, he will say:

Corlys the Chainmaker: "Fascinating! I may have to add you into my collection, before you can cause any more damage!"

After defeating the Argonian Behemoth:

Corlys the Chainmaker: "You've beaten my behemoth! Do you have any idea how expensive those creatures are to maintain?"

While summoning his henchmen:

Corlys the Chainmaker: "Henchmen! To battle!"

There are two achievements associated with this creature:
