The Ayleid Soldier is a spirit found in the Temple of Sul in Shadowfen. He is a specter of an Ayleid that enslaved the Nedes during the Alessian Slave Rebellion. He can be found there during the cutscenes of Into the Temple.

The final conversation, at the Jorane Pilaster, takes place between an Ayleid Soldier and an Alessian Knight:

Ayleid Soldier: "Your revolt will fail, slave. You are mere animals!"

Alessian Knight: "Alessia has shown us the way, Elf. We are slaves no longer!"

The Alessian Knight will cut the Ayleid Soldier down (falling down to 0 health), before the two fade out of view.
