Armaltol the Ageless

Armaltol the Ageless is a necromancer in High Elf form who will ask for your assistance in entering a new host when he is encountered on Solstice.

Dialogue

When you approach him, he will be standing beside four different bodies, a Nightblade, Berserker, Beastcaller and Swashbuckler^{[verification needed — see talk page]}.

Armaltol the Ageless "Mortal, come aid a weary soul."

Armaltol the Ageless "The body I currently possess grows frail. I need a new host."

Armaltol the Ageless "Before I can enter a new host, this body must be defeated in battle. Fight me, mortal!"

When you fight and defeat him, he will jump into another body:

Berserker

Berserker: "A brawler would be different!"

Nightblade (Khajiit)

Nightblade: "Perhaps a nightblade this time."

Beastcaller (Argonian)

Beastcaller: "An Argonian? Interesting."

Swashbuckler (Maormer)

Swashbuckler: "Swashbuckling could be fun!"^{[verification needed — see talk page]}

This will happen three times, on the third jump Armaltol will be happy with the body he picked. ^{[verification needed — is it always the Beastcalled?]}

^(?): "That's enough! A new host awaits me. Blessings upon you, mortal."
