Question regarding leveled skills/spells Lich and other creatures[edit]
Hi all, I wonder how the game calculates the skills of creatures like a Lich (other interesting creatures with skill levels are Goblins f.e.). Liches have many leveled spells, so I want to know how the game calculates what the skill level of a Lich is at a certain player level. I assume they at least start out with a skill level of 5, but probably far higher. And what is the amount of skill they gain per level? Is it like NPCs where they gain up to 1.5 points per level? Would be glad if anyone could answer. C0rTeZ48 (talk) 10:42, 29 December 2024 (UTC)
- Unlike NPCs, creatures only have three skills: Combat, Magic, and Stealth. For a default Lich, the Magic skill is hardcoded at 47. Their spells are determined by nested leveled lists (Editor ID LL2CreatureLich100). —Legoless (talk) 20:31, 10 January 2025 (UTC)

- Thank you Legoless. Just to clarify, does this mean Liches can only cast novice and apprentice spells regardless of the player’s level, or does it mean their magic skill starts at 47 and then levels up from there? My guess is that you mean their magic skill will always be at level 47, no matter how high the player level is. Am I correct? C0rTeZ48 (talk) 12:24, 23 March 2025 (UTC)
