A discussion of the types of pits

Hazardous pits shall be divided into two categories. One, there is the large, and second, there's the small pits. Large pits are both very dangerous, as you fall deeper and deeper until you bounce on the floor. On the other hand, it is not so easy to see what makes large pits so predictable. Small pits, on the other hand, are inconspicuous and downright deceitful. Due to their tiny size, one's foot is oftentimes sprained or even broken; a bare moment of inattention suffices and the mean little pit strikes to a certain extent.

But the most dangerous of all subgroups of this already barbaric enemy of righteous citizens are camouflaged pits, which can be both large and small. These virtually invisible dangers take away the large pit's disadvantage, namely its conspicuousness. Hard to imagine you are on the way to work and from one moment to the next, everything is black around you, because you are located in a huge pit, twenty feet below the sidewalk. Horrible, isn't it?
