Where to find Vintage Brandy

I play honest character (no stealing) so it's a bit hard to obtain Vintage Brandy as it's a rare item in Morrowind. According to CS, there's 5 free bottles present in the world. I will list it, maybe it will help to other honest people here :)

1). 2 bottles in Tel Uvirith, Arelas House, Owner: House Telvanni - Rank Oathman (you can take it once reached Oathman rank in this house)

2). Saturan. No owner.

3). Odirniran. No owner.

4). Chun-Ook, cabin. No owner.

brandy in drawers

the brandy only appears in the drawers when you start the quest and im pretty sure ive found more than one up to 3 i think. (Eddie the head 12:35, 9 May 2011 (UTC))

It gets added when the line "The Vintage Brandy is in Hlaalo Manor. Bring this brandy to Habasi." is spoken, but there's only one specifically added by the script. rpeh •T•C•E• 13:07, 9 May 2011 (UTC)

Well i just recently did this quest again on vanilla for xbox and i found 2 bottles in the drawer. (Eddie the head 11:44, 19 June 2011 (UTC))

Sugar Lips won't Take the Brandy

More than once while playing this quest, I had picked up the brandy during a previous quest to the manor and either carried it around or stashed it away until this quest came up, only to find that even though the brandy is in my possession, Sugar Lips insists that it's still in the manor. I even went back to the manor and returned, to see if that would take Sugar Lip's brain out of neutral, to no avail.

After reading this article, I decided to go back into the manor to see if each of my conversations with Sugar Lips had caused another instance of the brandy to appear. However, all I found in the chest of drawers were clothes and books.

After reading the name, "Hlaalo Manor", in the articles enough times, it eventually occurred to me that not only was I in the wrong manor, but the Ancient Dagoth Brandy I had carried all over Tamriel wasn't at all the same vintage of brandy I was meant to obtain for Sugar Lips. When I arrived at the correct chest of drawers, there were indeed 5 Vintage Brandies.

One suspects that the Ancient Dagoth Brandy was placed into the game just to confuse someone like me. Downstrike (talk) 05:40, 31 January 2013 (GMT)
