Add more links?[edit]
The story has no link to the diamond article despite mentioning diamonds multiple times. Nor does it have a link to invisibility or poison effects. Is it possible and/or desirable to add links to these pages? Pharap (talk) 17:40, 23 August 2019 (UTC)
- It isn't always useful to link to mundane items just because they can be. Links to alchemical ingredients and effects would be useful. Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 00:41, 24 August 2019 (UTC)

- In this case I believe 'Diamond', 'Invisibility' and 'Poison' all potentially qualify as useful, particularly as it makes it clear that these are actual game mechanics rather than something that are mentioned in the story purely to make the story interesting or as a form of wider lore. There are also examples of other books linking to alchemy ingredients, such as De Rerum Dirennis linking to the game-local versions of vampire dust in the respective game book articles. However, upon investigation there are two complications. Firstly, as book templates apply to Oblivion and Morrowind too, will these links still be relevant for those games? (Diamonds are only alchemy ingredients in morrowind, and the lore version of poison redirects to the Morrowind ingredient instead of the spell effect.) And secondly, it appears there is no 'Effect Link' for invisibility. I believe it would make sense to create one as Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim all have a form of invisibility effect, but I couldn't find any documentation on how to do so, and it's possible that currently no spell effects are registered as 'Effect Link's, which may suggest that there's a reason for this, or that it might be a larger undertaking than anticipated.
