Where Did He Go?

I replaced Mathendis as Aryon's Mouth before completing the Coded Message quest. As a result, I don't think I can ever fully complete the quest. I still have Response from Divayth Fyr in my inventory, but Galos Mathendis is nowhere to be found and I seem to be unable to deliver the letter directly to Aryon. Doesn't affect gameplay, just an interesting loose end - does anyone know where he goes after stepping down as Aryon's Mouth? Nigelvibations 20:45, 21 September 2009 (UTC)

He is simply disabled the moment that Aryon says you're his mouth now. Unfortunately, this means he will be no longer present in the game from that moment, and you can't finish the quest. --Timenn-<talk> 14:49, 5 October 2009 (UTC)

Interestingly, that leaves Aryon without a Mouth after you yourself become a council member. -Meisterdieb 07:48, 25 January 2010 (UTC)

We can give Aryon his old Mouth back with console command "galos mathendis"->enable 152.44.211.33 04:04, 31 March 2023 (UTC)
