The fake ashmask

The Vivec Ashmask is a powerful Tribunal Temple relic found in the temple in Gnisis. However, the one on display is a replica. The real one is hidden inside the middle panel of the Shrine of Justice, that is, the pillar in the center of the room.

Touching the real one will cast a blessing on you:

• Gnisis Shrine Blessing - Cure Blight Disease on Touch, Cure Common Disease on Touch, Cure Poison on Touch

It will also give you a free spell, which has a very low casting cost of 10 Magicka:

• Vivec's Touch - Cure Blight Disease on Touch, Cure Common Disease on Touch

Neither the fake nor real mask can be picked up, let alone sold, so the value assigned to them is meaningless.
