The effects of the College of Illusion spells alter the perceptions and thoughts of living beings. Illusion effects include blindness, illumination, paralysis, silence, calmness, enragement, charm, distract, camouflage, and invisibility.

If a new character's Illusion skill × 2 + Willpower / 5 + Luck / 10 is at least the listed value, they can receive the following two starting spells:
- 65: Chameleon (Chameleon 10 pts for 30 secs on Self, Cost: 15)
- 65: Sanctuary (Sanctuary 10 pts for 30 secs on Self, Cost: 15)

Trainers[edit]
The Master Trainer of Illusion is Erer Darothril at Dirty Muriel's Cornerclub in Sadrith Mora. There are very few other trainers, and none of note. See Illusion Trainers for the complete list.
To train yourself, create a custom spell with a casting cost of 1. You will be able to cast it many times until your magicka runs dry.

- Demoralize Humanoid appears to have been intended as an Illusion spell, but it is actually a Mysticism spell.
