Lynpar March (also called Lynpan March)[1] is a region and later a settlement located in the southeast area of Valenwood, east of the city-state, Elden Root.[2]

History[edit]

The Wild Hunt in 1E 369 occurred when King Borgas of Skyrim attempted to conquer Valenwood in the name of the Alessian Order. Many of the Bosmer that partook in the hunt continued to live on by the late-Second Era. One such example was King Dead Wolf-Deer stalked the Lympan March for an unknown amount of time.[1] According to Amalien, scholar of the University of Gwylim, Dead Wolf-Deer was an amalgamation of different creatures, such as a wolf and a crocodile, and that his likeness may be inscribed on the Ring of the Wild Hunt.[3]

During the Imperial Simulacrum in the late Third Era, the village of Lynpar March was an active settlement. It was ruled by Lord Elisnor and had a rivalry with Moonmont. The only temple in the village was the Conclave of Charity.[4] It was neighbored by several settlements, including Eldenroot to the west, Karthdar Square to the northwest, and Wasten Brukbrook to the far south.[2]

Notes[edit]

  • The Lynpan March is mentioned in the Pocket Guide to the Empire, Second Edition, in which the region was located in Imga territory. It was flooded away per Empress Morihatha's orders after she and her entourage were confronted by King Dead Wolf-Deer. The entire march was apparently wiped away to whereabouts unknown and the Empress' personal favorite falcon, Crow was sacrificed.[UOL 1]
