The Codex Scientia is said by "ancient prophets" to be a scroll/tome that when possessed, can buy riches beyond imagination and have the power to crush one's enemies, which may lead an adventurer through trials of the world, and contains illuminations worthy of those who seek "ultimate power."[1]

- The Codex Scientia is also referred to as the "Book of Knowledge",[1] which the Oghma Infinium took as a name in Daggerfall.[2]
