Bamboo[edit]
A variety of a grass plant which has tree like properties. It can be found around Tamriel and is used as a material for a variety of things, such as furnishings and dry goods and in Alchemy where it has restorative properties for stamina.[1] Known varieties of Bamboo include the Mud Tree bamboo [2] and Mountain bamboo [3]. Parts of the Old Imperial Quarter in Lilmoth are said to be overgrown with Bamboo.[4]
Banyan[edit]
Banyan trees are one of the most common trees in Black Marsh[5] but can often be found growing in swampy areas all around Tamriel. The tree's wood is too soft and spongy to make into a bow, but its roots are tough and durable, and it does not wrap or swell in Black Marsh's humid environment. The Black Fin Legion, a militia based in Gideon makes their bows out of the tree's roots.[5]
Barbleberry[edit]
Barbleberries are berry-producing bushes which grow in coastal areas near the water, such as along the shore of southern Grahtwood. The small red berries, when harvested can be used as a powerful diuretic.
Bat Bloom[edit]
Bat Blooms are purple plants that can grow to large sizes. They can grow on Vvardenfell in the Bitter Coast, Ascadian Isles, and Azura's Coast regions. They can also be found in Mephala's realm, the Spiral Skein.
Beech[edit]
Beech trees can be found in various locations around Tamriel such as Blackwood, the Gold Coast and Galen.[6][7]. Its wood product is often used for crafting a variety of items, such as furnishings and gear.
Belladonna[edit]
Belladonna are the yellow-green shrubs that grow in the warmer regions of Solstheim. Also known as deadly nightshade.[8] When consumed, the berries are said to purge the body of evil energies.
Bent Dance Bloom[edit]
Bent Dance Bloom are rare flowers believed to only bloom rarely in the light of Lorkhaj.[9] It was believed to be a unique plant growing on the grounds of the Do'Krin Monastery in Elsweyr.[10] It was guarded by the local Order.[11][12]
Bergamot[edit]
A tall, thin plant with a dark pink flower bloom, found growing in the Nibenay Valley and northernmost part of the Great Forest in Cyrodiil.
Birch[edit]
Birch trees grow most notably in the Jerall Mountains and the forests of the Rift. The wood can be found in many places and is harvested to craft Birch weapons and armor, namely bows, shields and staves.
Bittergreen[edit]
A fast-growing slime triggered by rain vine that usually appears in thickets.[13] It grows into a red flowering plant,[14] and is abundant in the West Gash region of Vvardenfell. Bittergreen is a safe and nourishing food when it is boiled but is highly toxic if eaten raw.[13][15] It is often used to make tea.[16] The petals have alchemical value.[17] Raw bittergreen can be used to poison trees at their roots' water supply,[18] and specially treated bittergreen petals make for a swift-acting poison.[19] Empty Bittergreen pods are attractive sitting locations for kwama workers and scribs. If left where they can access them, kwama warriors may try to enter the pods when they obviously can't fit.[20] Ordinators stuck a sprig of bittergreen below the right pauldron during the final step in putting on their armor.[21]
Black Anther Plant[edit]
Black Anther is a flowering plant that grows on the Ascadian Isles and Azura's Coast regions of Vvardenfell.
Black Lichen[edit]
Black lichen is a somewhat rare, primitive plant that survives well in harsh conditions and grows on rocks.[22] Kwama hate black lichen. As such, kwama miners can use it to keep the bugs out of their food stores.[23]
Black Rose[edit]
The Black Rose is a flower with known prominence on the Morrowind mainland and the Iliac Bay area. It is late-blooming and said to possess a sweet spicy smell. Within Morrowind, it is known to grow in every shadowy nook and crevice of the highlands, finding nourishment even in the stoniest banks and ridges.
Blackberry Bush[edit]
A short berry producing shrub found on farms across Cyrodiil, and wild in the province's West Weald region.
Blanched Russula Cap[edit]
Blanched Russula Cap is an exotic mushroom that grows in Barrow Trench in Greenshade. Its white color is so bright that it apparently seems to glow.[24]
Bleeding Crown[edit]
A short, red-capped mushroom found growing in the caves of Skyrim.
Bleeding Tree[edit]
The Bleeding Tree is a mysterious and legendary plant that holds some significance in both Breton and Reachfolk traditions. Bretons incorporate its symbolic significance tied to Akatosh in the naming conventions of their temples, while the Reachmen possess a vibrant oral tradition that weaves tales about the tree, often associating it with some kind of forest spirit.
Blessed Thistle[edit]
A plant with many spade-shaped green leaves growing from a central stem that can be found growing across Tamriel.
Blight Bog Mushroom[edit]
Blight Bog Mushrooms thrive within the Blight Bog Sump in Murkmire. They are incredibly nutritious, and can be used to make a miraculous fertilizer.[25]
Blister Pod[edit]
A short, grey-colored knobbly fungi found growing in the Dementia side of the Shivering Isles.
Blisterwort[edit]
A brown-capped mushroom found growing in the caves of Skyrim.
Bloatspore[edit]
Bloatspore is a spore-producing fungus that grows in dark, damp locations.
Bloodcrown[edit]
Bloodcrown fungi grows in large subterranean caverns. While the Bloodcrown's cap is red, its spores have the unusual property of producing a blood-like liquid.[26] A notable example of this fungus' habitat is Merion's Bliss in Auridon.
Bloodgrass[edit]
Also spelled "Blood Grass". A tall, dark grey-colored reed covered in thick red veining, commonly found in the Deadlands.
Bloodthorn Vines[edit]
Bloodthorn Vines, also known as Bloodroot Vines, are giant, writhing, thorned vines associated with dark Reach magic. They are used by the Bloodthorn Cult and the Boneshaper Clan. The plant is not native to the Reach, but is cultivated well by the Reachmen. The Boneshapers use the vines in an unusual number of rituals, from lacing or growing them through the skeletons of their living sacrifices to shaping them into rough effigies before battle in mockery of life. Despite the use of the dead in several rituals, the Boneshapers forbid the practice of necromancy. On the other hand, the Bloodthorn Cult used the vines for a much more malevolent purpose, spreading them to corrupt the land and planting the seeds in the corpses of the dead to raise them as zombies. These vine-covered zombies lived in a painful state of undeath. The cult's leader, Angof the Gravesinger, suffered from a similar existence to the zombies after making a pact with Molag Bal, although he seemed to think that it could be reversed. During the cult's campaign in 2E 582, the vines were spread throughout Glenumbra and Betony. Their grapes can be used to produce high quality wine.

Bloodtooth Toadstools grow naturally on Vvardenfell.
Blue Entoloma[edit]
Not to be confused with Steel Blue Entoloma, Blue Entoloma is a small, vibrant blue fungi that can be found growing across Tamriel.
Blue Poppy[edit]
Blue poppies are flowers with vibrant blue petals that are found in Southern Elsweyr. Blue poppies are commonly used in painkilling medicine, and can give the patient strange dreams. They can also be used to make blue paint.[27]
Blue Yarrow[edit]
Blue Yarrow is a type of herb found in northwestern Tamriel. It can be used in herbal poultices.
Bog Beacon[edit]
A medium-sized fungi with a round, yellowish cap commonly found in the Blackwood region of Cyrodiil.
Bog Willow[edit]
A large tree found in the swamps of Murkmire, the pleasant-smelling oil it produces protects it from rot.[28] However, if the oil comes in contact with certain substances (such as perfumed snapper oil), it will combust.[29]

Brackenleaf[edit]
Brackenleaf is believed to be one of the first trees of Grahtwood. The story goes that when Y'ffre spoke their world-shaping tale, she planted her words in the earth and there grew Brackenleaf. Indeed, Brackenleaf was compared to Elden Root, mentioned as one of many more ancient seeds.
Brackenleaf's heart is a sought after relic as legends say the heart holds the power of Y'ffre, the same magic used to create the world. Due to this, it's been under threat since the beginning of time itself, with foes seeking to take its power for themselves. The Outsider is a prominent example of such a foe.

Brandelion[edit]
Brandelion is a type of herb found in northwestern Tamriel. It can be used in potions to cure illnesses.
Briar Heart Tree[edit]
A strange tree with red leaves cultivated by Reachmen to produce Briar Heart Seeds, the source of the infamous Briarheart warriors. Briarheart Saplings, a juvenile form of the tree, are planted in corpses. Any corpse can serve this purpose. The smaller trees connect to the large tree through a system of roots. The fruit produced by the trees is used in rituals by Hagravens to resurrect Reachman warriors as Briarhearts. It is a great honor to be chosen for this transformation. The fruit is plunged into the chest cavity of a dead warrior to replace their heart, and they are resurrected with greater strength and fortitude.[30]

A large plant with purple-blue flowers that can be found growing across Tamriel.
Bungler's Bane[edit]
Bungler's Bane is a mottled brown-and-orange shelf fungus collected from the trunks of trees in Vvardenfell's Bitter Coast region.
Buttercake Mushrooms[edit]
These flat-brimmed mushrooms live in caves and on Vvardenfell. They bear an uncanny resemblance to pancakes.
