Question[edit]

I'd like to add an article on character housing, complete with automap data for each block which contains such a house (when I extracted automap data and converted it to .png, I coloured them purple). The only stopping point is: should it be listed in Daggerfall Places Trail or Daggerfall Services Trail ? --Uniblab 00:04, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

I don't do DF, but where there's ambiguity wouldn't it be a good idea to create a third category with a new trail? –rpehTCE 00:07, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
This is not a bad plan, since it would also address palaces, [[Daggerfall:Cemeteries|cemeteries]], residences, and a few other weird points. It is something to think about. --Uniblab 00:11, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
Thanks to Nephele and her arcane magic, it's even easier. You don't need to create a new trail template, just use {{Trail|Palaces}} (or whatever) on your pages instead. It even creates the necessary category. –rpehTCE 00:19, 18 December 2009 (UTC)
At present I am going with Template:Daggerfall Places Trail|Places while I work out creating the new trail and integrating the other weird pages. I am glad for the feedback. --Uniblab 02:22, 20 December 2009 (UTC)

Move[edit]

Should this page be moved to Daggerfall:Purchasable Houses? --Username1 (talk) 00:54, 25 July 2017 (UTC)

House cost[edit]

Is there data on the most expensive or cheapest house to buy in the game? — Unsigned comment by 192.42.116.16 (talk) at 21:21 on 28 April 2018

I think they start at 200 to 300 thousand and stop at some point not too far beyond 1m, the most expensive I've ever seen were some apartments in sentinel (which were over 1m), and the cheapest I've seen was one of those tiny square huts that I think was somewhere between 200 and 300 thousand. I saw somewhere on the DF Unity forums that the cost is calculated based off the diameter or something similar to do with the size of the property. Also if you want to get into discussions, you should probably get an account so you can get notified of replies and be recognized more easily. --Username1 (talk) 07:43, 30 April 2018 (UTC)
In Antiphyllos the expensive ones cost around 1.2m. Antiphyllos is a good province since there are only a few dungeons and, as far as I can tell, only one quest location not always accessible without cheating. Anyway, I thought if there are even more expensive ones then the 1.2m ones somewhere.
And no, I don't intend to register and I do intend to use tor, both for privacy reasons.— Unsigned comment by 185.220.102.7 (talk) on 20:13 26 May, 2018 UTC

Is anyone interested in researching this? We could systematically visit every bank in every city that has one for the cheapest and most expensive house to buy.
