Strog the Cook

Strog the Cook is an Orc commoner who works as the cook on board the Slough Queen, a ship moored in the Bravil Docks.

As ship's cook, Strog has a busy schedule. He rises at 5am every day to make breakfast for the crew, along with himself. Every weekday at 7am, he heads into town for five hours to procure supplies for the ship: The Gallows Cookhouse on Morndas, Kashmir's Fresh Fish on Tirdas, the Bravil Barrel Brewery on Middas, Riverside Housewares on Turdas, and the Bravil Butcher on Fredas, after which he returns to the ship. Weekends, he remains on board the ship, working in the galley all day. At 7pm, he starts preparing dinner for the crew and himself, and he eats at 9pm. After dinner, at 11pm, he crawls into his bunk to get some well-deserved rest.

Strog wears a baker's apron, rugged pants, and quilted shoes. He carries a cheese wheel and a hunk of beef.

Unlike Hill the Cook over on the Heron's Tail, Strog isn't interested in feeding strange people: "Hey, who are you? You're not one of the crew! Hey, if you're looking for a free meal, forget it! I get paid to feed working men, not freeloaders..."
